Prior to serving in the Judicial System, Judge Whitt’s background consists of many years working for the Toole County Sheriff’s Office. Starting in 1981, she held positions that include Dispatcher, Head Dispatcher and Administrative Assistant. Donna was sworn in as a Deputy Sheriff in 1986 and promoted to Chief Deputy in 1991. She was then elected as Toole County Sheriff in 2003, holding that position for 20 years, until her retirement in 2022.
Being fair, consistent, and compassionate is a goal Donna continually tries to attain. She enjoys serving the people of Shelby/Toole County.
